A JOYful 3D Project

Today is another day to highlight a few of the products you can get over at the PaperWorks Co store. It's my last FREE FOR ALL Day for awhile.   I decided to change things up a bit and not do ANY stamping.

The stomach flu has claimed another victim here in our house. Everyone was so worried about the "Swine flu."  It's this rampant, mutant STOMACH flu that you need to watch out for...IMO.  This is day 3 for my daughter.  Poor thing.  She just can't get rid of that tummy ache now.

Anyways, I haven't had much time to create so  I needed a quick and easy project.  I know this project may look time consuming, but it took less time than MOST of my cards....REALLY.




I used these FUN stickers by Bo Bunny and their coordinating papers.  It's a Collection called, " Love Bandit" and I LOVE it!  The animals and patterned papers are really adorable.

This sentiment is one of my favorites.  I plan to hang this in my craft room.  This is just a cheap wooden frame from Michaels' that I painted and then covered with patterned paper.  Here is a detailed shot of the center of the frame:



I decided to adhere my sticker to a piece of white card stock first and cut it out.  That way I could move it around as I decided how I wanted to place it.  I then layered it on another piece of white that was trimmed using my kids' scalloped scissors. (It's been awhile since I raided their stash...it's usually the other way around:) I adhered this to a piece of rose red CS that was sewn to a larger piece of soft sky using dimensionals.  All of this was adhered with dimensionals to the base of purely pomegranite that was embossed with Swiss Dots.EF.  Everything goes with swiss dots, I'm tellin' ya!

I finished the whole thing off with a big white bow and a button.  This super fun project meets all the requirements for this week's The Pink Elephant Challenge 51 and the Die Cuts R Us challenge 23 (to use ribbon).

Thanks for stopping in today.  Hopefully I will have a few more projects this week using this cute paper.  Cross your fingers that victim number 3 is NOT ME!

Love that Bo Bunny sticker! Your perfect ribbon bow at the top is gorgeous. Just the right touch for our DCRU challenge this week. Lovely card!
