A Stamptacular Sunday Sketch


Hey!  Today over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge we have a sketch for you to try.




This is a pretty easy, fun sketch so I hope you decide to join us.  Up for grabs this week is a Gift Certificate to The Pixie Cottage.


 



Here's my take on the sketch:

 
I decided to go a bit vintage today and use some things from my stash, as well as, some new things.  There isn't a lot of stamping on this card.  I just stamped a sentiment.  I had a hard time finding paper that looked right for the stamped tag and then realized I could just use some packaging that my ribbon came wound around.  I did have to clear emboss it though since it wasn't drying very fast.  My main image is from an old sponsor to Stamptacular called Papirloftet.

Here is a detail shot of my button:



I used some pins from Maya Road along with a PTI vintage button, taffetta ribbon, twin and a heart doodad I had in my stash.  I'm still trying to figure out if you give a card with SUPER GIANT PINS to a friend or enemy.  OUCH!  This is going to someone special so I may include a warning sign before they open in....just in case.
