Are you ready for another Challenge today from A Crafty Little Place? Today's challenge is perfect for the weather here. It's an Autumn themed challenge. It's been a bit nippy here. I love, love, love fall, but I like to EASE into it. We went from 90 degrees to the 50's in a matter of days. It been dreary and rainy. PERFECT for staying in my basement crafting.
Supplies Used: Stamps: American Crafts Blue Skies
Ink: Choc Chip Craft, TH Vintage Photo Distress, Colorbox Dark Peony
Paper: Indian Summer by Basic Grey, Choc. Chip, Ivory, Kraft
Other: Manila Tag, Glimmer Mist, brown grosgrain, brown twine, Wanted Button, oval and scalloped oval punch, EK Success border punch, Zing brown embossing powder
I used some glimmer mist and spritzed my tag. I then embossed the tree from THIS set using Choc Chip Craft ink and some Zing embossing powder. My scalloped oval was cut out of Kraft cardstock and then I colored it using some Molasses Smooch. Now doesn't that just sound "fall-ish?" Oh my Grandma used to make the best Molasses cookies ever! Speaking of cookies, I'm off to make a big batch of Chocolate Chip for my son's class tomorrow. We are surprising his teacher. It's her birthday.
I hope you have time to join in our challenge this week.
I should be back tomorrow with a few creations for you.
See you then!
