Who's Got My Hairy Toe?

 But first, a card!

I made this card for 2 challenges this week.  The Mojo Monday 110 and the Color Challenge 242 over at Splitcoast.


I didn't have Mambo Melon so I used  Melon Berry from PTI.  This card is a 4 3/4 square mounted on a layer of black.  I made this for my friend who has been helping me out so much with lots of little things.  I don't thank her enough.

Now for the title of my post..."Who's got my hairy toe?"  Do you know this story?  I went to a Catholic Elementary School that was run by Attila the Hun....I mean... Sister Mary the Nun.  The thing that made it better was the art teacher, Mrs. Hambright.   Every year she would tell us this story under a black light.  It is something I never forgot.  She also used to make "Stone Soup" in a big cauldron on the playground.  She was so cool.  I wanted to be her.  A few years ago, I told this story to my daughter's class and then again last year to my son's class.  It is a FUN, spooky story.  My son requested that I tell it again at his class Halloween party.  The problem is I couldn't find the hairy toe from last year.  I really am wondering, "who's got my hairy toe?"  This is the THIRD time I have had to make one.  The first year someone told me it looked like another body part that we won't mention. The second one is lost and I hope this is the last one I have to make.

Can you imagine someone actually FINDING the one I lost last year?  Hee hee!  That would be so funny.  Today I will be spooking the kids in 3rd grade with this Hairy Toe.  It's going to be so fun!

I hope you all have a really great Halloween.  My kids are going to be Elvis and Priscilla Presley.  I promise to post pictures!

I really like the card layout and color combo, but the Hairy Toe, that definitely is cool! I want to know how you did it and the story makes it the best. You are a cool mom!
