For You Chick...sounded better than For You Bird:)

I got to play around this morning a bit before the kids got up.  Luckily, my card came together really quickly.  Using up those scraps again! The bird is black embossed and cut out.  This was a "reject" that was sitting in my "reject pile."  Anyone else have one of those?  Rejection is a good thing.  It just means that something better will come along.  See how card making can be used in the philosophy of life???  Hee Hee.

Ok, seriously, back to the card.   I used some leftover DP  and lined the top of my card with a scrap that was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  I finally remembered to use a technique that I've see Betsy Veldman do many times on her cards.  You just string a bunch of buttons on twine.  So cute!

I'm entering this into several challenges today.

I also wanted to share a few pictures of something that I have been working on.  I make little hair clips for girls and I got a BIG, custom made order that I had to fill by yesterday.  Luckily I got it all done and feel a bit less stressed.  These actually take longer to do than you would think.  So here are the pictures.
