Does anyone else hate taking their kids shopping???? I am a slow shopper...just like everything else I do in life. Wish me luck. I'm sure their patience will wear thin. I'll just remind them it's all for them. Huh, I'm not sure guilt works on kids.
I have a card today that I shared at the release of the new PWCO characters called, " Zach and Zoe." This month the release is all about sports. I made the card for my sister's birthday tomorrow.
The inside says, "CELEBRATE! Cause it's all down hill from here, babe."
Of course my card is going to be late. I haven't had the chance to get to the Post Office this week for stamps. I hope my sister thinks it's funny. She deserves to get picked on. She is getting married in a few months and I have agreed to wear a CANARY YELLOW dress. Um, red heads, especially ME, should NOT wear yellow. I'm going to look like a torch heading down the aisle. Really, my hair will be flaming red against that yellow. That's ok though, because she's my sister and that day is not about ME. I have informed her that she will owe me for life:)
So, I think I can give her a little ribbing as she gets one year older.
Make sure you check out the new release over at the store. I'll be back tomorrow with a challenge card and then again on Saturday to show you another Zoe image using the February Card Kit. See you then!
What's In It?
Stamps: Zoe the Skier, $1 Happy Birthday stamp
Ink: Black Memento
Paper: Early Bird Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill Red, Real Red, Prism Ivory, blue green from Jeweltones
Other: Copics, pom pom, paper piercer,, dimensionals, PTI buttons, twine,

Awwww Nikki, she is just super adorable!! And how creative is that sentiment on the inside!! LOVE it!! Darling card. Your sister will love it for sure!!
Great card and I'm glad I'm not the only one that is a slow shopper!
Adorable card and I'm sure your sister will enjoy it. Glad to hear that I am not the only slow shopper. Also guilt doesn't work on children... they use it as reverse psychology on parents. LOL.. You will be gorgeous in yellow. Hold your head up high and say I am beautiful no matter what (you really are very beautiful)! Wish I had a daughter and red hair.
I will do almost anything to avoid taking my kids shopping! My reason is the opposite of yours though...I hate shopping and they slow me down! And we can compare bridesmaid dress stories. When I was younger, my hair was redder, and I had to wear a pepto pink off the shoulder dress. In case that wasn't bad enough with the hair and my pale skin, I had a horrible sun burn on one shoulder the day of the wedding. I've never seen pictures and I don't want to!
