So many challenges, so little time:) That's how I've been feeling lately. Not enough time to stamp for me for some reason. Last week I was blog hopping and found the Bubble Bin over at My Favorite Things. The Bubble Bin changes each week so check it out. Gotta tell ya' that I got some really great deals. When I was perusing the stamps I saw this one called Cuddle Up Carter. He reminds me of my son. Dalton has hair that sticks up like that when it gets too long. We call it his "cock-a-doodle-doo." It is usually untameable. Dalton also has a blue pair of Star Wars PJ's that he got for Christmas. They are definitely his favorite. AND.. I love frogs...not REAL frogs...just cute frogs....that don't move. So I had to get this set. This sketch is for Jen Del Muro's SFYTT. She has blog candy this week. Try it out!
I am not happy with my coloring. Still trying to work on that. I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen. Practice is definitely what I need. Plus a few tutorials wouldn't hurt. I have to say that acrylic stamps are becoming very fun for me. I was able to create the wording around that oval with my acrylic block. I could also slightly curve the sentiments onto the block. So cool. Not such a great job on spacing, but Dalton won't care. He's been having a rough time lately and I think cuddling up is just what he needs.
