We are doing the dance here! YES! It's the last day of school! So exciting! Do you know the dance? The HAPPY dance. Well, most of us. My son asked me if he could go to summer school. Yep! Can you believe it. He is my busy body. The idea of not seeing his friends and keeping busy with school activities is tough on him. I'm sure that will change in a few years.
I just wanted to show you some of the simple teacher gifts I made this year. We give about 13 gifts. My kids make sure we don't miss one teacher. Alas, that makes it difficult to afford much. This year I decided to give some Black Eyed Susan's from my garden. I just made a simple flower using a Sizzix die called Daisies #2. I adhered these to a popsicle stick with instructions for FULL SUN and tied on a tag that I made with Nestabilities and using some Verve Stamps. The other side of the tag says " Thanks for the inspiration you have been in my life. Of course it's raining like crazy here and all my stuff got wet and bled. Bummer!
I also made them these cute little boxes and put some homemade chocolate covered cherries inside. I hope they don't melt. I will show you another version of this box tomorrow with a link to the template. Make sure you check back for that.
This box was made with these supplies:
Stamps:Perfect Princess, Just Jawing (SU)
Ink: Real Red, Choc Chip, Always, Artichoke, Versamark
Paper: Choc Chip, Real Red, White
Other: CM circle cutter, Scalloped Nesties, Walmart Ribbon (lemongrass), small oval punch, dimensionals
I may have another post for you today. I've been really busy with stamping. So stay tuned. Don't forget to check back tomorrow too! Have a good one!
